Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team and contribute to delivering high-quality mechanical engineering services across water and wastewater projects.

This role will primarily involve supporting the design phase of projects for Sydney Water through our collaboration with clients. However, there will also be the opportunity to work on water infrastructure projects across the region.

You will work closely with Senior Mechanical leads on projects and collaborate with partners to ensure successful delivery. Additionally, you will contribute to the growth of the mechanical engineering discipline within the water sector at Arup.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the design and delivery of mechanical components for water and wastewater infrastructure projects, focusing on projects for Sydney Water.
  • Collaborate with project teams and partners, contributing to planning and execution of water supply, distribution, water treatment systems.
  • Contribute to technical excellence and quality project delivery in the mechanical engineering discipline.
  • Play an active role in developing proposals and bids, supporting business development activities.
  • Ensure accuracy and quality of work, providing guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
  • Represent the company at external meetings and participate in internal projects and activities.
