Safety and Wellbeing Enablement Lead Role

">

We are seeking an experienced Safety and Wellbeing Enablement Lead to drive and support safety, health, and wellbeing across W Living. The successful candidate will lead the co-creation and enable the delivery of the business SH&W roadmap in alignment with the Woolworths Group SH&W Strategy and W Living Strategy.

About the Role

  • The role involves developing and executing safety strategy across the business, as well as developing Active Safety Leadership across W Living.">
  • You will participate in high potential incident investigations, collaborate with regulators, develop processes in partnership with Store Enablement, and embed a proactive approach to mitigate risks in stores.">
  • You will develop capability relating to safety processes, systems, and regulations within the broader W Living team.">
  • You will partner with key squads and chapters across the Woolworths Group to understand opportunities to improve the Safety, Health, and Wellbeing of our teams, develop appropriate strategies, and bring them to life in W Living.">
  • You will lead weekly and monthly reporting and updates for the leadership team, in line with the Woolworths Group SH&W Strategy and the W Living Annual Operating Plan.">

What You'll Bring

">

To be successful in this role, you will need at least 7 years of experience in a Safety role, ideally with 2 years of team leadership experience. You should have a tertiary level qualification in Safety or a related field.

">

You will also need experience working in an organisation that has grown through acquisition, with a strong ability to translate group strategy across a portfolio of businesses. Demonstrated competency influencing leadership and frontline is essential, and experience working in an Agile environment would be desirable.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, plus additional benefits such as hybrid working opportunities, mentorship, and development programs. You will also have access to our team member benefits across all our brands.
