Freelance Content Editor

We are looking for an experienced freelance editor to collaborate with us on a variety of short-form project work.
The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of story and character, as well as be excited to work on commercial and branded content. The editor will be part of our edit team based in Sydney and LA and will have extensive experience with Premiere and After Effects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the creation of edited pieces for social, broadcast, and marketing channels.
- Quickly assemble edits and implement notes from clients and production stakeholders to meet project deadlines.
- Create versions and cutdowns from pre-existing edited finals.
- Handle multiple videos simultaneously and provide fast delivery.
- Troubleshoot technical and creative challenges.
- Maintain clear and effective communication between production and editing environments.
Requirements:
- At least 4 years of experience editing various projects, including shorter social media-based assets, longer scripted pieces, commercial or documentary.
