Job Description

A 12-month rolling contract presents an opportunity to be part of a cloud migration project, supporting a company with a great mission and cause.

The successful candidate will join the Data & Analytics Branch as a Senior Analyst (SQL / SAS / Teradata), working collaboratively within a team to produce consistent and accurate reports and insights.

This role involves undertaking moderately complex to complex data analysis and reporting under limited supervision, guided by legislation, policies, procedures, standards, methodologies, and precedents.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Analysing and interpreting data to produce value-adding reporting products and data assets.
  • Collaborating with business areas to ensure consistent analytics, actions, and messaging across the Agency.
  • Drawing business intelligence analytics that provide accurate analysis and key insights, presented appropriately for the audience.
  • Developing and delivering strong methodology and business resources to enable the Agency to respond to emerging performance risks and opportunities.
  • Communicating complex information to key stakeholders with varied levels of data literacy.

Required Skills and Qualifications

The successful candidate must possess advanced SQL skills, strong SAS experience, and familiarity with Teradata. Salesforce CRM is highly desirable, as is any experience with modern cloud technology such as Azure, AWS, or Google.
