Job Overview

We are seeking a Disability Services Specialist who is passionate about improving the lives of individuals with disabilities.

This role involves supporting National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) participants across all ages in a community setting by:

  • Managing a varied caseload and delivering therapeutic services aligned with participant goals
  • Assessing emotional, psychological, cognitive, developmental, and physical function
  • Developing evidence-based treatment plans and interventions tailored to each individual's needs
  • Recommending assistive technology and environmental modifications for increased independence
  • Supporting participants in various settings, including home, school, work, and community environments
  • Maintaining compliance with current legislation and best-practice standards
Key Responsibilities

Delivering high-quality disability services to meet the needs of our participants.

Working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal outcomes.

Providing education and training to participants, families, and caregivers.

Requirements

CURRENT REGISTRATION WITH AHPRA AS A PROFESSIONAL OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST

Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

A proactive and innovative mindset, with a genuine desire to make a positive impact

Ability to work independently and thrive in a collaborative team environment

A passion for helping people in the disability sector and making a meaningful difference in their lives
