About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team at General Pants – Perth.

As an integral part of our management team, you will be responsible for driving sales, achieving key performance indicators (KPIs), and developing a high-performing team culture within store.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with the Store Manager to ensure seamless day-to-day operations, maintaining efficiency and productivity.
  • Review store sales reports, creating actionable plans in collaboration with the Store Manager and team to drive sales growth.
  • Maintain a culture of accountability among yourself and your team members through regular feedback and coaching.
  • Collaborate with the Store Manager to create a dynamic store roster, aligning it with daily traffic, peak periods, and optimizing team resources.
  • Support effective inventory management, including stocktakes and cycle counts, ensuring accurate stock levels and minimizing losses.
  • Assist in implementing visual merchandising standards, contributing to engaging in-store experiences and activations.
  • Provide mentorship and coaching to the store team, empowering them to grow, develop their strengths, and address areas for improvement.
About You

To succeed in this role, you will possess:

  • A minimum of 1-2 years of supervisory/management experience in a retail environment.
  • A genuine passion for fashion and a deep understanding of our brands.
  • The ability to lead, motivate, and engage a high-performing team environment.
  • Proven experience in coaching and developing teams and individuals.
  • A track record of driving sales targets and budgets, with a focus on exceeding expectations.
  • Solid knowledge of retail operations, including budgets, wages, rostering, visual merchandising, stock management, and shrinkage control.
  • Australian working rights.
