We are seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will provide expert advice and assurance on procurement processes, including developing and reviewing procurement plans, managing contracts, and engaging with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and review procurement plans and minutes, request for tender documentation, panel arrangements, evaluations, negotiations, probity matters, and contracts;
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams, business stakeholders, and external entities to achieve service delivery outcomes;
  • Contribute to the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of tools, templates, and standard operating procedures;
  • Manage several competing priorities and strategic directions effectively;

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience and strong understanding of government procurement frameworks, including relevant policies;
  • Demonstrated experience undertaking end-to-end procurement, including reviewing and providing constructive advice on procurement plans, approval minutes, contracts, and evaluation reports;
  • Demonstrated experience in contributing to continuous improvement by updating knowledge bases and delivering training;
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills;
  • Ability to work autonomously, flexibly, and courageously;
