Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Reservations Consultant to join our team at Helloworld Group. As a key member of our Inbound Tourism team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and creating unforgettable holiday experiences for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Action quotes and bookings on a daily basis as allocated by the Division Team Leader.
  2. Clear supplier messages in the ATS/Audley mailbox on a daily basis.
  3. Perform administrative duties, such as filing correspondence and documentation on Tourplan.
  4. Respond to agents within 24 hours, keeping them updated on the status of their booking.
  5. Book services as required for passenger files as requested by agents and offer alternative services when necessary.
  6. Answer agents' general inquiries and requests for information or help in a prompt and helpful manner.
  7. Attend supplier updates during and outside work hours to increase product knowledge.
  8. Assist the accounts department promptly by actioning requests for information or assistance.
  9. Produce operational work of high quality with minimal errors.
  10. Attend familiarization trips as organized by the company.
  11. Assist passengers when they call or visit the office, including amending itineraries, handling complaints, adding additional services, or answering questions.
  12. Research new products for agents as requested.
  13. Liaise and communicate with the TL on any customer/agent complaints while in the country.
  14. Work the late shift roster as assigned (9:30am to 6pm).
  15. Work the Weekly After hours Phone Roster as assigned.
  16. Volunteer for weekend work as required.
Requirements:
  1. Inbound experience within the travel industry.
  2. A sound knowledge of the Tour plan booking system.
  3. Demonstrated experience in a customer service environment.
  4. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  5. Exceptional time management skills to ensure compliance with strict turnaround times.
  6. Fluency in more than one language (European speaking advantageous).
  7. A passion for creating extraordinary holiday experiences.
