We are seeking a highly skilled Production Planning Manager to join our Retail Ready Operations Australia (RROA) team at Coles Group. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and effective operation of our large-scale production facility.
Your primary responsibility will be to develop and implement production plans that meet customer demand and optimize resource allocation to ensure efficient and cost-effective production across multiple shifts. You will also lead and mentor a team of production planners to achieve their goals and develop their skills.
In addition, you will be responsible for forecasting demand, managing inventory levels, and ensuring timely delivery of products. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize production processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
As a Production Planning Manager, you will have a strong focus on team member safety, quality, and continuous improvement. You will also be responsible for defining resource plans, analyzing capital requirements, and defining solutions to enable growth and the needs of a dynamic operation.
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced professional who can bring their expertise to our team. If you have a proven track record in operation planning processes within a highly complex, high-volume manufacturing environment, we encourage you to apply.
