About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Shift Manager to join our team at Coles Group Manufacturing. As a key member of our Retail Ready Operations Australia function, you will be responsible for coordinating and controlling manufacturing processes, leading and coaching team members, and managing resources to optimize production and achieve business results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and control manufacturing processes to ensure efficient production and high-quality products
  • Lead and coach team members to develop their skills and capabilities, and create a positive and inclusive work environment
  • Manage resources effectively to optimize production and achieve business results
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and innovation

About You:

  • Minimum 4-5 years' experience in a production supervisor or team leader role in a food or fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate team members
  • Knowledge of food processing industry and food safety practices, including HACCP and GMP principles
  • Strong understanding of high-speed automatic food packaging machinery
  • Experience in production planning, stock control, and resourcing
  • Resilient and proactive, with a commitment to continuous improvement
  • Degree qualification in Engineering or Food Technology (or equivalent)
