Role Summary

The Disability Inclusion Support Officer will collaborate with the education support team to provide inclusive and accessible learning environments for students with disabilities.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Support the development and implementation of disability inclusion strategies and plans.
  • Provide individualized support to students with disabilities, including accommodations and modifications as needed.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to ensure consistent and high-quality support is provided to students.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to improve skills and knowledge related to disability inclusion and support.
Selection Criteria:
  • Demonstrated ability to perform duties in accordance with established guidelines and frameworks.
  • Able to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Relevant technical knowledge and expertise.
  • Ability to provide guidance and support to management and other school staff.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and growth.
