BDO's Expat & Employment Tax team delivers expert consulting and compliance services to a diverse range of clients and industries. Our specialists provide tailored solutions to address complex employment tax matters, ensuring compliance and minimizing risk.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality work, demonstrating technical expertise and competence in employment tax matters, including fringe benefits tax, superannuation guarantee, and payroll tax.
- Prepare and review complex advice and compliance items, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Manage due diligence reviews, preparing reports and providing expert analysis.
- Develop and implement effective tax strategies, minimizing liabilities and optimizing returns.
- Provide coaching and feedback to staff, promoting professional growth and development.
- Support the delivery of team and client technical training, ensuring knowledge sharing and best practices.
- Identify new business opportunities through professional associations and networking.
- Contribute to tenders and winning new work, leveraging expertise and industry knowledge.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, delivering exceptional service and support.
- CA/CPA (or overseas equivalent) or legal qualifications.
- CTA, Master of Taxation (or overseas equivalent).
- At least 5 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in professional services.
- Proficient user of Microsoft Office Suite: Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook.
- Strong commitment to quality service and client relationships.
- Excellent understanding of taxation and legal issues, as well as the commercial environment.
- Excellent client relationship focus, both internally and externally.
- Demonstrated leadership ability.
- Ability to work collaboratively to achieve a positive outcome.
- Able to display drive and initiative through proactive behavior.
