Residential Aged Care Home Manager

Bupa Traralgon is a modern care home located in the Gippsland Region. This secure dementia support community features 118 beds and is supported by experienced Clinical Care Managers and Registered Nurses who prioritize resident care.

In this role as the General Manager, you will be responsible for the overall daily operations of the Traralgon care home. You will champion the Bupa Model of Care, create a culture for our people to love working at Bupa, and achieve extraordinary business performance that promotes an exceptional resident experience.
You will collaborate with clinical leaders to minimize clinical risk. Your responsibilities include operational management, ACFI management, staff retention and recruitment, training and development of staff, succession planning, occupancy management, roster management, and liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
Skills and Experience
This role requires previous management experience in a residential aged care home. You should have exceptional operational leadership experience, demonstrated abilities in growing and developing people, advanced understanding of service improvement, WHS principles, and previous experience within a regulatory environment. A proven ability to manage resources and exceed targets is also essential. Additionally, you should possess excellent communication skills with high levels of emotional intelligence and a thorough understanding of Resident Rights, Aged Care Accreditation Standards, and Outcomes.

An estimated annual salary range for this position is $140,000 - $180,000, depending on your level of experience and qualifications.
