Compensation Package

A competitive salary is offered to the successful candidate, estimated at $120,000 per annum based on industry standards and the location of the position.

Job Description

The role of Lead Mechanical Engineer involves designing hydraulic / process packages including skids, lifting frames, reservoirs, walkways, instrumentation panels, tubing / piping and various components bracketry. This position requires technical expertise and leadership skills to drive growth and innovation in our engineering projects.

  • Design and develop mechanical systems and solutions that meet customer requirements.
  • Lead a small design team and provide guidance and support to ensure timely delivery of projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time, on spec and within budget.
  • Identify and mitigate technical risks and ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations.
Key Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Relevant qualifications and a minimum of five years' experience in mechanical engineering.
  • Experience in designing and manufacturing Fluid/Gas Process Packages as well as offshore oil & gas knowledge and the ability to manage a small design team is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD LT and Autodesk Inventor (or SolidWorks).
  • Knowledge of relevant industry standards, safety regulations, and certifications to ensure compliance.
