About the Opportunity
Aussie Fluid Power is seeking a skilled Project Engineer - Process to join our multi-discipline engineering team in North Coogee.
As the Project Engineer - Process, you will oversee engineering projects from start to finish, ensuring they meet specifications, are completed on time, within budget, and adhere to standards.
Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with the Project Manager and other Engineers to execute projects.
- Selecting components based on process requirements and verifying suitability/compliance with project specifications.
- Generating project documentation, drawings, calculations, and diagrams.
- Assisting Design Engineers in designing process packages.
- Identifying, selecting, and managing vendors and sub-contractors.
- Providing workshop instructions, documentation, and assisting the workshop team during assembly and testing stages.
- Investigating and resolving technical and commercial matters.

About You
- Experience in designing and manufacturing Fluid/Gas Process Packages.
- Relevant qualifications (Mechanical/Process) and successful track record in project engineering.
- Problem-solving, creativity, continuous learning, attention to detail, adaptability, time management, and communication skills.
- Experience in creating P&IDs and optionally electrical drawings or hydraulic schematics.
- Understanding of engineering design and risk analysis steps/meetings.
- Knowledge of materials and their properties.
- Knowledge of relevant industry standards, safety regulations, and certifications.
- Experience in the hydrogen sector and knowledge of standards in the offshore oil & gas, project management, and AutoCAD LT and Autodesk software will be highly advantageous.
