High-Performing Mechanical Project Specialist Wanted

A dynamic and ambitious individual is sought after to join Aussie Fluid Power's multi-discipline engineering team in North Coogee, Western Australia.
This role involves overseeing projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery, adherence to specifications, and compliance with industry standards.
Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with project managers and engineers to drive project execution
- Selecting components based on process requirements and verifying their suitability for project specifications
- Producing and assisting in the generation of project documentation, drawings, calculations, and diagrams
- Assisting design engineers in designing process packages
- Identifying, selecting, and managing vendors and subcontractors
- Providing workshop instructions, documentation, and assistance during assembly and testing stages
- Investigating and resolving technical and commercial matters

About You
- Experience in designing and manufacturing fluid/gas process packages
- Relevant qualifications (Mechanical/Process) and a successful track record in project engineering
- Strong problem-solving, creativity, continuous learning, attention to detail, adaptability, time management, and communication skills
- Proficiency in creating P&IDs and electrical drawings or hydraulic schematics
- Familiarity with engineering design and risk analysis steps/meetings
- Knowledge of materials and their properties to make informed decisions
- Familiarity with relevant industry standards, safety regulations, and certifications
- Bonus points for experience in the hydrogen sector, offshore oil & gas projects, project management, AutoCAD LT, and Autodesk software
