We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Inventory Management Specialist to join our team. As an essential member of our inventory operations, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate stock reporting, efficient inventory management, and timely coordination with internal departments and external suppliers.

About The Role
  1. Liaise with internal teams and external partners to resolve inventory-related queries and discrepancies.
  2. Manage the entire inventory lifecycle, from receiving and processing stock to data entry and reporting.
  3. Investigate and rectify negative stock balances and below-cost reports in a timely manner.
  4. Process stock journals and raise purchase orders as required to maintain optimal inventory levels.
  5. Coordinate the delivery of imported and local goods, ensuring seamless logistics and supply chain management.
  6. Maintain inventory levels aligned with sales and production needs, minimizing waste and overstocking.
  7. Handle inter-branch transfers and documentation for imported stock, adhering to regulatory requirements.
  8. Support daily, weekly, and monthly production and inventory reporting, providing insights for informed decision-making.
  9. Coordinate regular stocktakes (weekly, monthly, yearly) to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  10. Provide exceptional customer and supplier service, responding to phone enquiries and resolving issues promptly.
  11. Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records and vendor details in accounting systems, ensuring transparency and accountability.
About You:
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in inventory control, accounting, or bookkeeping, preferably within the construction industry.
  • Proven organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent attention to detail and data entry accuracy, with a keen eye for precision.
  • Effective communication skills (written and verbal), with the ability to articulate complex information clearly.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively within a close-knit team environment.
  • Confident, proactive, and capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Intermediate to Advanced), with experience in Microsoft Navision Financials being a significant advantage.
  • A strong attitude toward accountability, consistency, and punctuality, with a commitment to excellence.
