Tailings Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a highly experienced Tailings Engineer to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to work on innovative projects and contribute to the growth of our organization.

This role requires the application of geotechnical engineering principles, including tailings storage facility design, geotechnical analyses, and site characterisation. Experience with relevant software packages, such as Muk3D, is essential.

  • Civil/Geotechnical/Tailings dam design;
  • Geotechnical analyses using various software packages;
  • Understanding of tailing deposition modelling (Muk3D)
  • Geotechnical and environmental site characterisation;
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Bachelor's degree in civil or geotechnical engineering or a related field;
  • Directly relevant experience in a consulting environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience;
  • Knowledge of relevant geotechnical engineering software, including numerical modeling tools;
  • Excellent writing and communication skills;
  • Ability to succeed in a fast-paced consulting environment, handling multiple project assignments, meeting strict deadlines, and traveling to client facilities as needed.
