This is an exciting opportunity to work with our specialist team providing clinical assessment and intervention services for children and young people experiencing mental health difficulties.
About the RoleThis permanent, full-time position (40 hours per week) offers a competitive salary package of $120,000 - $140,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience. As a Senior Mental Health Clinician, you will be responsible for providing clinical leadership within the 12-26 youth program, participating in leadership activities, and supervising staff and students.
Key Responsibilities- Provide discipline-specific consultation and assessment services to clients and internal/external clinical services.
- Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to the needs of each individual or family.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of service-wide initiatives and policies.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline and eligibility for membership of AHPRA (or the appropriate professional body).
- At least 5 years' experience in child and adolescent mental health services.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, families, and colleagues.
