Lead Chaplaincy Role
The successful applicant will be responsible for overseeing chaplaincy efforts and guiding a team to deliver effective, person-focused spiritual and pastoral support to customers, carers, staff, and volunteers, regardless of cultural background or faith.
This role requires the ability to inspire and provide pastoral and administrative leadership to a diverse team of chaplains. The ideal candidate will have at least five years post graduate experience in pastoral ministry and/or chaplaincy, demonstrated commitment to self-nurture, self-care, professional boundaries, and professional development, as well as a high level of Christian spiritual maturity with a pastoral heart.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead chaplaincy efforts and guide a team to deliver effective spiritual and pastoral support to customers, carers, staff, and volunteers
- Provide pastoral and administrative leadership to a diverse team of chaplains
- Collaborate with other team members to provide compassionate support and spiritual care
- Develop and implement strategies to improve chaplaincy services and outcomes
- Ensure compliance with BaptistCare's policies and procedures
Requirements
- At least five years post graduate experience in pastoral ministry and/or chaplaincy
- Demonstrated commitment to self-nurture, self-care, professional boundaries, and professional development
- High level of Christian spiritual maturity with a pastoral heart
- Ability to lead, encourage, and work harmoniously with others
- Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to manage conflict
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Organisation, administrative, and time management skills
- Attentive to detail and ability to problem solve
- Computer literate and proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software
- Able to think and act strategically
- A personal commitment to growth in the Christian faith
- Able to work within BaptistCare's Policies and Procedures
