Job Title:

A behaviour support professional will work with individuals to achieve their goals in various settings, including clinics, homes, schools and communities.

  • The role involves working with children, teens and adults with complex needs, providing individual sessions, family consultations and program development.

  • The ideal candidate will have a flexible caseload aligned with their experience and interests, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of allied health professionals.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement evidence-based behaviour support plans tailored to the needs of NDIS participants.

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop intervention strategies and monitor progress towards identified goals.

  • Liaise with families, educators and support workers to ensure consistency of care and support.

  • Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to compliance standards as outlined by the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).

  • Participate in regular supervision and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.

About You:

Applicants should hold a degree in Psychology, Behavioural Science, Social Work or Education, with a strong background in positive behaviour support principles and practices.

Previous experience working with NDIS participants and a passion for promoting emotional regulation, daily living and social engagement are highly regarded.
