Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Geospatial Data Specialist to lead our team in the Albury to Parkes Railway project. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for harnessing geospatial data to drive efficiency and growth in rail operations.

  • Manage and manipulate large datasets, including satellite imagery and vector datasets.
  • Promote best practices in spatial data management, importing, maintaining, and validating datasets provided by clients.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop and manage spatial data, including design, construction, and environmental departments.
  • Prepare data for client technical specifications for digital deliverables.
  • Support construction planning by producing drawings, sketches, and data.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • No less than 5 years of experience in GIS.
  • A Diploma or degree in spatial sciences, geospatial disciplines, construction, design, or engineering.
  • Proficiency in Esri and QGIS software systems.
  • Experience working with various design software packages.
  • Advantageous skills in Python, FME, or SQL.
