Technical Applications Specialist – Laboratory Equipment

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Applications Specialist to join our sales team in Melbourne, Sydney, or Brisbane.

This key member will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experience through outstanding pre-sales and post-sales technical support.

  • Deliver expert technical support for laboratory equipment products, addressing customer technical and workflow inquiries.
  • Become a trusted advisor by building strong relationships with customers through expert advice and support.
  • Collaborate closely with commercial teams to support opportunity conversion and partner with product management teams to drive business success.
  • Assist with field-based and virtual product demonstrations and training, providing expertise to ensure effective product use.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a scientific discipline preferred.
  • Minimum of three years of industry or related work experience.
  • One year of working with Thermo Fisher's laboratory products is strongly desired.
  • Experience in a customer-facing commercial role and/or providing technical presentations to diverse audiences is highly valued.
