Australia Country Manager Job

This is a unique leadership opportunity for a senior executive with a deep understanding of the Australian energy transition, offshore wind development, and government engagement to establish and grow a major player's presence across the country.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Leadership: Define and execute a localized strategy in line with Australia's energy transition goals, positioning the business for long-term success.
  • Market Development: Drive business expansion in offshore wind, including monopiles, foundations, and emerging technologies.
  • Government Relations: Build and maintain strong connections with state and federal governments, industry associations, and key stakeholders to support policy engagement and local content compliance.
  • Commercial Growth: Support HQ with research, reporting, and deal execution, while securing contracts and building a trusted customer base.
  • Operations & Partnerships: Develop local supply chain collaboration, from component manufacturing to logistics, to enhance competitiveness in Australia.
Requirements:
  • Strong track record in offshore wind or large-scale energy projects.
  • Proven expertise in government relations, industry networking, and stakeholder management at both state and federal levels.
  • Deep understanding of Australia's energy transition policies, regulatory frameworks, and offshore wind market dynamics.
  • Exceptional leadership and cross-cultural management skills.
