Senior Mechanical Power Engineer

About the Role

As a Senior Mechanical Power Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the project mechanical team, coordinating with other engineering disciplines, and monitoring and communicating project status.

You will have primary responsibilities including leadership, coordination, monitoring, and communication, as well as providing mechanical engineering support for detailed design and owner's engineer projects.

  • Deliverables may include construction drawings, bid specifications, mechanical equipment sizing calculations, technical memos, bid evaluations, code reviews, feasibility studies, reports, and cost estimates.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university.
  • A minimum of 15 years of experience in power generation design, preferably with gas turbine, steam turbine, and/or large reciprocating engine experience or subject matter expertise.
  • Proven experience with simple cycle and combined cycle power generation.
