Position Overview:
The Central Australian Aboriginal Congress is seeking a knowledgeable Aboriginal male with exceptional verbal and written communication skills for the pivotal role of Aboriginal Cultural Advisor (Male).
Located at the Ingkintye Men's Centre, the Aboriginal Cultural Advisor will leverage their deep cultural and social understanding to provide guidance, mentorship, and education to staff and management across all Congress services and programs. This position is crucial for enhancing cultural safety, responsiveness, and knowledge, thereby fostering a robust organizational culture and improving health and wellbeing outcomes for Aboriginal individuals, in collaboration with the Female Aboriginal Cultural Advisor.
