Aboriginal Cultural Liaison

Central Australian Aboriginal Congress Aboriginal Corporation is seeking a highly skilled and knowledgeable Aboriginal female to fill the key leadership position of Aboriginal Cultural Advisor (Female).
The successful candidate will be based at the Alukura Women's Health and Maternity Specialty Service and will use their cultural and social knowledge to provide advice, mentoring, and education to staff and management across all Congress services and programs.
The role is responsible for the continuous improvement of cultural safety, responsiveness, and knowledge to foster a strong organisational culture and optimise health and wellbeing outcomes for Aboriginal people.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert advice and guidance on cultural safety and responsiveness
- Mentor and educate staff and management on cultural knowledge and practices
- Develop and implement strategies to improve cultural safety and responsiveness
- Collaborate with the Male Aboriginal Cultural Advisor to achieve organisational goals
