Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Laboratory Technician to join our team as a Sample Preparation Specialist. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sample preparation and plant operations, with excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate specialized equipment for sample preparation, with comprehensive training provided.
  • Ensure all processes are carried out with precision, consistency, and compliance with strict procedural guidelines.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of equipment and workspaces to prevent cross-contamination.
  • Verify and cross-check sample numbers meticulously to ensure alignment with documentation.
  • Manage multiple batches of samples efficiently while meeting timeframes.
  • Collaborate with team members and take ownership of individual tasks, demonstrating adaptability.
Requirements
  1. Exceptional attention to detail to ensure high accuracy in measurements and sample processing.
  2. Strong organizational skills to manage workflows across multiple sample batches.
  3. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
  4. Commitment to maintaining safety standards at all times.
  5. Minimum 2-4 years of relevant experience preferred.
  6. A forklift truck license is highly desirable.
  7. Current right to work in Australia is mandatory.
