Job OverviewThis full-time position involves working closely with other workshop personnel to maintain and repair heavy diesel equipment. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all machinery is serviced and maintained to the highest standards, minimizing disruptions to production.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out repairs and maintenance tasks in accordance with training and qualifications;
- Work efficiently and safely as directed by the Workshop Supervisor;
- Perform regular vehicle servicing as instructed;
- Collect and process S.O.S. samples as required;
- Detect, diagnose, and report mechanical faults;
- Adhere to company health and safety policies and participate in regular safety meetings;
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace;
- Collaborate with team members to promote effective teamwork and create an operation worthy of pride;
- Provide support, mentorship, or training to others where necessary to enhance operational efficiency;
- Report any suspected mechanical defects immediately;
- Must be a qualified tradesperson with relevant experience;
- Knowledge of heavy earthmoving mobile equipment;
- Pre-employment medical clearance and negative Drug and Alcohol Screen result;
- Compliance with Company Drug and Alcohol and Fitness for Work policies;
- Participation in random Drug and Alcohol testing/screening at any time while on duty;
- Ability to wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE);
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal;
- Able to work at heights or in confined spaces;
- Willingness to work in remote locations as required;
- A commitment to working within Titan Plant Hire Pty Ltd's Quality Management Systems and adhering to high standards of quality and safety;
- Current motor vehicle driver's license WA/NT 'HR' class (or equivalent);
- First Aid Certificate;
- Training modules for plant, equipment, and trades learning.
We provide a competitive salary ranging from $50,000 to $80,000 per annum, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
