Heavy Vehicle Technician

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Heavy Vehicle Mechanic to join our team at the Gove Operations site in Nhulunby. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a dedicated team of professionals and contribute to the success of a leading civil project.
Job DescriptionThis role involves working as part of a team to ensure all work is completed to quality and safety standards. Key responsibilities include overseeing work order management, managing external vendors, establishing positive relationships with suppliers or service providers, and promoting and demonstrating safety behaviours.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum 3 years' experience as a qualified diesel Mechanic and excellent communication and organisational skills. Previous experience on a mine site is advantageous but not essential.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Minimum 3 years' experience as a qualified diesel Mechanic
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to oversee, delegate and assist with tasks if and when required
- A competitive salary of approximately $80,000 - $100,000 per year
