- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements, design solutions, and implement projects.
- Utilize physical and synthetic platforms for simulation, testing, and prototyping.
- Develop and optimize algorithms for sensor data processing, fusion, and interpretation.
- Conduct experiments, testing, and validation to ensure the reliability and robustness of mechatronic systems.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics Engineering, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience in mechatronics engineering, robotics, or related roles.
- Familiarity with concepts and real-world implementation of machine vision and machine learning systems.
- Strong knowledge of robotics principles and industrial control systems (PLC, IoT).
- Experience with sensor integration, calibration, and data processing.
- Proficiency in using software platforms such as RoboDK, ROS, Inventor, and Omniverse.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, C/C++, and Matlab.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.
- Holder of a current Australian Defence Security clearance or able to obtain one.
