We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to lead our Residential Bonds team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, finance or a related field, and experience in managing staff and providing effective leadership and direction to deliver required outcomes in a customer service environment.

The Residential Bonds General Manager is responsible for providing high-level leadership to a team of staff and the management of resources across the unit. Importantly, their role has a dual focus of customer service and financial management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the critical planning, development, and implementation of best practice customer service processes and performance for all service delivery channels, including face-to-face, call centre, media, and web engagement.
  • Provide oversight and recommendations for financial transactions and quality assurance of residential bonds data.
  • Manage external stakeholder relationships to achieve positive outcomes.
  • Analyse information and solve complex issues.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and financial performance.

Requirements:

  • A background in accounting, finance or a related field.
  • Experience in managing staff and providing effective leadership and direction to deliver required outcomes in a customer service environment.
  • Experience working in an environment with high-volume financial transactions and identifying and resolving financial data discrepancies.
  • Experience in providing high-level advice to senior management.
  • Ability to analyse information and solve complex issues.
  • Tertiary qualifications in finance, accounting, commerce, business or a related field (desirable).
