Trade Counter Assistant Job

As a key member of our Trade Counter team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to plumbers and other tradespeople. Your primary goal will be to ensure that customers receive the products they need in a timely and efficient manner.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in retail sales or customer service and possess excellent communication skills. They will be able to effectively manage stock levels, maintain shop floor displays, and provide accurate information to customers.

Other responsibilities may include:

  • Providing quotes both in person and over the phone
  • Undertaking pick/pack activities and ensuring stock control is maintained
  • Helping to keep the branch tidy and safe
  • Making occasional deliveries to customers using a company vehicle
