Job Opportunity:

The Registrar or Principal House Officer role involves assisting senior medical staff in various orthopaedic services, including:

  • Elective operating
  • General and specialist trauma operating
  • Elective and fracture clinics
  • Teaching and training
  • Contributing to regular audits, morbidity & mortality meetings, and departmental research

This is a medical leadership position that requires a high level of autonomy, strong clinical skills, and excellent communication abilities.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Assisting in the management of elective and trauma cases
  • Providing teaching and training to junior medical staff
  • Contributing to the development of departmental policies and procedures
  • Participating in regular audits and quality improvement initiatives
