We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Safety, Health, and Environment Manager. This is a key role that will be responsible for ensuring the safety, health, and environmental well-being of our employees, contractors, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage the local Safety, Health, Environment, and Security programs as part of the Site Management Team.
- Implement Corporate Compliance programs locally and align with DSM Business operations.
- Accountable for SHE & Security aspects of the local business, including regulatory compliance and development of new strategies.
- Manage annual SHE & Security plans and budgets in coordination with DSM Food Specialties BG plans.
- Oversee administrative duties, training, audits, and emergency response plans related to SHE&S.
- Act as local security responsible (LSR) and represent DSM management to local authorities and stakeholders.
- Tertiary level qualifications or equivalent in Supply Chain, Management, Science or related field.
- Extensive experience (> 10 years) in a manufacturing environment (preferably heavy-industry, Food or Beverage).
- Experience (> 5 years) in SHE Systems, legislation, and SafeWork Requirements.
- Knowledge of SHE, Security, Management skills and group training practices.
- Strong Communication skills - Verbal, Presentation and Reporting.
- Care for your fellow employees, for the community and environment.
