Duties of a Bar Lead

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team to deliver exceptional customer service and seamless operations in a dynamic work environment.
This role involves overseeing the daily management of the bar, ensuring health, safety, and hygiene standards are met, as well as training and developing team members.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in managing a bar, hold relevant certifications, and possess a strong understanding of licensed premises management requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead by example with a hands-on approach.
- Oversee day-to-day bar operations.
- Ensure adherence to health, safety, and hygiene standards.
- Develop and train team members.
- Monitor weekly inventory and handle food and beverage marketing/promotions.
Requirements:
- Hold a Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate and Responsible Service of Gambling certificate.
- Previous experience in managing a bar.
- Knowledge of licensed premises management requirements.
- Extensive understanding of liquor, bartending, and service protocols.
- Experience with HACCP requirements.
