Paralegal Role

We are seeking a highly organized and skilled Paralegal to join our team in Adelaide or Sydney. As a key member of our Recovery and Restructuring practice, you will play a vital role in managing a diverse portfolio of files in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

The successful candidate will work closely with lawyers to focus on compliance and quality assurance. Your duties will include:

  • Collaborating with major lenders and financiers on secured and unsecured recovery matters
  • Preparing security documents for auto financiers
  • Drafting agreements and progressing matters through relevant courts
  • Liaising with regulatory bodies to fulfill obligations under the Corporations Act
  • Managing files from start to finish
  • Preparing and issuing legal documents
  • Maintaining regular contact with clients
  • Handling insolvency files and corresponding with stakeholders

To succeed in this role, you will possess excellent drafting skills, close attention to detail, and be well-organized. You will also enjoy working in a friendly team environment with supportive partners and on-the-job training.

While career paralegal experience and asset recoveries experience are desirable, law students with 2 years or more remaining in their degree may also apply.
