**Job Opportunity**

We are seeking an individual to enforce relevant Acts and regulations related to Boarding Houses in the Parramatta Local Government Area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Boarding Houses program to ensure compliance with applicable standards and legislation.
  • Participate in team-based inspections and be available for after-hours inspections as required.
  • Investigate and resolve customer requests/complaints related to unauthorized Boarding Houses.
  • Provide technical advice and services to support Team Leader Building Compliance (Technical) and building stakeholders.
  • Engage with the community through education within a regulatory framework.

**Requirements**

  • A background in investigations, working knowledge of relevant legislation, and expertise in Building Compliance or related fields is preferred.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Building Surveying, Town Planning, Investigations, or related disciplines are also essential.
  • A current, valid Class C driver's license is mandatory.

**Benefits**

We offer a competitive total remuneration package from $90,298 to $99,439 p.a. plus 11% superannuation.
