Key Role: Environment, Health and Safety Professional
Job Description:
Responsible for providing expert advice and guidance on environmental, health and safety matters to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards. This role involves coordinating and implementing effective health and safety programs across all levels of business operations.
About the Role:
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including health and safety representatives, workgroups, customer representatives and sub-contractors.
- Ensure compliance with the Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) Act and relevant jurisdictional requirements.
Requirements:
- University Degree in Science, Occupational Health and Safety or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Certificate IV (or higher) in Work Health and Safety is essential.
- 'C' Class Driver's license and Senior First Aid certificate are also required.
- NV1 Security Clearance, or ability to obtain, is necessary.
