**Job Opportunity for a Parent Support Specialist:**

We are seeking an experienced and skilled professional to join our team as a Parent Support Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for providing coaching support to parents and caregivers of teenagers who are experiencing mental health issues.

The ReachOut Parents One-on-one Support Program is a national service that offers free support to parents and caregivers. The program uses a virtual service delivery model to deliver up to 4 sessions to clients over the phone and online.

As a Parent Support Specialist, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing practical skill-building parenting support to promote individual and family wellbeing and functioning;
  • Liaising with parents and young people to connect them with clinical and other support services or community activities that may be helpful in reducing the factors associated with risk of mental illness;
  • Ensuring that all administrative requirements are met in accordance with established standards, including clinical record keeping, data gathering and evaluation.
