Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Configuration and Asset Professional to join our organization. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the continuous availability of mission-critical networks.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective Configuration Management processes and procedures.
  • Review change documents to ensure adherence to CM requirements and standards.
  • Maintain a centralized library for software, documentation, and drawings.
  • Accurately track and update Status Accounting Records for all configuration items.
  • Build and deliver software and system verification baselines, ensuring thorough testing.
  • Monitor and manage facility hardware and software configurations to maintain a comprehensive inventory.
  • Track licenses and installations of commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) hardware and software.
  • Support verification activities throughout the program, ensuring compliance with standardized procedures.
  • Facilitate coordination between teams and stakeholders.
  • Establish and maintain site configuration baselines to ensure consistency and stability.
  • Coordinate proposed changes to established baselines, ensuring appropriate evaluation and approval processes.
  • Conduct audits of authorized changes and perform configuration audits for compliance and accuracy.

Key Skills:

  • Configuration Management Expertise: In-depth knowledge of CM Standard EIA649 and ITIL Service Asset and Configuration Management.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical skills to interpret processes and complex data.
  • Effective Communication: Ability to present information clearly and concisely.
  • Stakeholder Relationship Management: Skill in establishing rapport with various stakeholders.
  • Proactivity and Attention to Detail: Proactive approach towards work with attention to detail.
  • Client-Focused Orientation: Display client service orientation.
  • Leadership and Team Development: Ability to coach and develop teams.
