Accounts Receivable/Credit Officer Job Description

The Accounts Receivable/Credit Officer will play a pivotal role in managing the company's ledger, encompassing approximately 350 accounts valued at $18 million per month. Key responsibilities include banking and allocation of received monies, processing end-of-month statements, and depositing cheques/cash when necessary.

The incumbent will also be responsible for contacting customers to collect overdue accounts, building strong customer stakeholder relationships, and liaising with sales and supply chain departments as needed to resolve claims, overdue debts, and other issues.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in Accounts Receivable/Credit is essential
  • Proficiency in computer software, particularly intermediate-level Word and Excel
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, enabling effective communication with a range of employees and customers
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Effective time management and problem resolution skills
