About the RoleThis pivotal leadership role plays a critical part in our finance team's success. As Senior Financial Accountant, you will have the opportunity to take on projects, collaborate closely with key stakeholders, and manage an assistant accountant. You will be responsible for leading and developing two accountants, driving process improvements, and contributing to the financial control team's growth.
Key Responsibilities:- Financial Reporting: Ensure accurate monthly balance sheet reconciliations for all accounts, review sales from POS to Dashboard and NetSuite for company and franchise restaurants, and complete month-end journals.
- Asset Management: Review and update the Fixed Asset Register (FAR), post depreciation, and manage off-charge of Finance support costs from Grill'd to Koko Black.
- Audit and Compliance: Manage the Year-End audit, prepare FBT reporting, and oversee Lease Accounting.
- Cash Flow and Capex: Provide monthly sales reporting to landlords and support cash flow forecasting.
- A strong background in a similar role with experience in project management and process improvement.
- Ideally, someone with people management experience and a passion for mentoring.
- CA or CPA qualification is preferred.
- A proactive attitude and ability to identify inefficiencies and improve processes.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience. This package includes a generous benefits program and opportunities for professional growth and development.
