Job Title: Rides Mechanical TradespersonAbout the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Fitter to join our team, responsible for routine safety checks, preventative maintenance, and overhauls of various equipment and attractions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform pre-opening safety checks to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Respond promptly to breakdowns on equipment and participate in rebuilds and repairs within set timeframes.
  • Manage stock control and deliveries efficiently.
  • Maintain a high level of personal safety awareness and adhere to OHS procedures.
  • Pursue equipment licenses and undertake required training.
  • Identify opportunities to improve work procedures and increase departmental efficiency.
Requirements:
  • A minimum Engineering Cert III Mechanical Trade qualification is mandatory.
  • Post-trade experience of 2 years or more is highly desirable.
  • A forklift license and EWP ticket are beneficial.
  • The ability to climb ladders and stairs, and work at heights up to 60m, is essential.
  • Experience with maintenance systems like SAP or Maximo would be highly regarded.
  • Autonomy and self-motivation, with minimal supervision required.
