About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Technician to join our team. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for ensuring all equipment is operating efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues.
  • Perform routine maintenance, inspections, repairs and machinery overhauls on a variety of equipment.
  • Maintain detailed service records and documentation.
  • Collaborate with the service team to improve service processes and efficiency.
  • Expand and maintain customer relationships.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience as a Service Technician, Mechanic, Maintenance Fitter or roles similar in the equipment industry.
  • A Certificate III in a related trade discipline.
  • Prior experience in breakdown and diagnostic repairs.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
