The Wealth and Personal Banking (WPB) Risk Team is responsible for developing and managing risk management frameworks across all WPB products. We monitor and manage the WPB mortgage portfolio to formulate and implement automated decisioning strategies and credit policies.

This role involves creating and managing valuation strategies through the creation and enhancements of valuation models to optimise risk and reward. You will also manage and review the banks valuation compliance and test controls framework, maintaining independent oversight of valuation quality.

You will work closely with the mortgage underwriting team and support local projects as SME on valuation and security related initiatives. Additionally, you will support the business with Group and local regulators to build out and embed a new Climate risk management framework.

To be successful in this role, you will need 5-7 years of modelling experience in the financial sector, including the creation and adoption of new models and management reporting. You should have analytical skills, ability to troubleshoot, and identify themes and resolve complex problems. Experience in valuation strategy and or credit decisioning management within a banking environment will be highly desirable.
