About the Role

Transport & Main Roads is seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Governance Specialist to join its Information Technology branch.

The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing effective information security risk management practices and risk treatment activities linked to our ICT systems. This includes assisting with the establishment and management of the information security work program, as well as providing support to governance bodies and undertaking research and analysis of current and emerging cyber security industry best practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Information Security Risk Management: Implement effective information security risk management practices and risk treatment activities linked to our ICT systems.
  • Program Management: Assist with the establishment and management of the information security work program, inclusive of supporting governance bodies and coordinating status and progress reporting.
  • Cyber Security Research: Undertake research and analysis of current and emerging cyber security industry best practice.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Generate specialised information security governance, risk and compliance reports for our systems to support risk-based decisions conducted through our information security governance bodies.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships and establish networks with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely completion of information security program activities.
