Join QTC as a Security Operations Specialist and play a key role in strengthening our cybersecurity. Collaborate with support teams to tackle vulnerabilities, manage cyber incidents, and enhance security practices.

What You'll Do:Security Operations and Delivery:
  1. Work with support partners to remediate security vulnerabilities from scans, tests, and audits.
  2. Improve QTC's security posture with ACSC Essential 8 and SWIFT frameworks.
  3. Remediate cyber incidents as part of the support team.
  4. Fulfill cyber-related requests in operational processes.
  5. Support the creation and evolution of cyber metrics for management.
  6. Provide security input for new technology solutions.
  7. Deliver cyber initiatives to enhance QTC's cyber posture.
  8. Contribute to process and procedural documentation.
Identity and Access Management:
  1. Manage and evolve the identity access lifecycle for QTC staff, ensuring a seamless experience in provisioning, modifying, and deprovisioning access.
  2. Support the review of application security access requests in line with the Application Governance Framework.
Security Culture:
  1. Support the delivery of QTC's Cyber Security Awareness Program.
  2. Assist with the delivery of training and the development of related materials.
About You:Technical Competencies:
  1. Proven collaboration and interpersonal skills to build effective relationships and resolve conflicts.
  2. Strong vendor management and service delivery skills.
  3. Analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and results-focused approach.
  4. Knowledge of Azure IaaS and PaaS solutions, and experience in risk management.
  5. Ability to work autonomously and with diverse stakeholders, with strong communication skills.
Qualifications:
  1. Tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  2. Desirable certifications: Azure Architecture (AZ-305), TOGAF, CISSP, CCSP, SC-100, ISO27001, NIST, AZ-500.
  3. Additional qualifications in Microsoft Power Platform and Microsoft Dynamics are a plus.
Experience:
  1. Over 5 years of experience delivering operational security services in complex commercial environments.
  2. Expertise in implementing security services across public and private cloud infrastructures, with a focus on Microsoft Azure.
  3. Proven track record of delivering services through an outsourced IT support model, managing external vendors effectively.
  4. Desirable experience in the financial industry and government bodies.
  5. Familiarity with aligning security practices with IS18 (ISO27001 and ACSC Essential 8).
  6. Experience with IDAM platforms such as OKTA or SailPoint.
