The role involves leading the technical delivery team to achieve stability, reliability and health of the data infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a solid technical background across various data assets, applications, tools and vendors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the technical delivery team to achieve stability, reliability and health of the data infrastructure.
- Develop SME knowledge across products.
- Manage platform health by overseeing disaster recovery tests, patching and access management.
- Develop and maintain the roadmap for data warehouse capabilities with focus on optimisation.
- Manage and prioritise backlog of work.
- Consult with business and technology stakeholders on platform capability and propose effective solutions.
Requirements:
- Extensive technology experience ideally within financial services industry.
- Project delivery experience and proven leadership in a matrix structure.
- Strong technical knowledge of data warehouse environments, with desired experience in IBM DB2 Warehouse on Cloud and Infosphere products.
- Demonstrated expertise in change management, adaptability and managing technology assets.
- Excellent stakeholder and vendor management, internal consultation and relationship-building skills.
