Cultural Community Liaison Specialist

This role plays a vital part in building trust and understanding between the community and law enforcement. You will be working closely with local First Nations communities to develop relationships and address barriers.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain strong relationships between the community and law enforcement agencies.
- Provide advice on cultural customs and protocols to ensure effective communication.
- Work with police officers to identify opportunities for community engagement and crime prevention strategies.
- Assist community members to access policing services and provide referrals where necessary.

Requirements- A Queensland C class driver's licence or ability to acquire one.
- Adherence to the uniform and dress code of the relevant agency.
- A willingness to work a set roster, weekends, and shift work as required.
